Maeystown Zeitinger’s Mill & Museum
Home of the Preservation Society and Visitors Center. The Maeystown Preservation Society is a not-for-profit organization, and its mission is to preserve the history, culture, customs, architecture and structures of the village of Maeystown, Illinois. Zeitinger’s Mill is available for rental for birthday parties, reunions, anniversaries, showers, etc. It is fully heated and air-conditioned and situated on attractive, spacious grounds and adjacent to the Maeystown Creek.
The museum has recently been expanded to include the second floor. There are many new additions, including Honoring Our Local Veterans. Admission to the Museum is free.
